IBP celebrates 110 years of innovation with Industry Press

Last week, 33 journalists from key industry magazines all over the world have visited Cordoba, Spain, in order to celebrate 110 years of innovation with Conex Bänninger. The company hosted its very own press event which comprised of presentations about the company’s heritage, its future plans as well as an insight into the production plant actually situated in Cordoba. Journalists were invited to take a tour around the factory which years ago, only employed 15 staff. Today, it has 240 employees and the capacity to produce 250 million pieces every year.

With the focus on innovation, invitees had the opportunity to complete demonstrations on some of the company’s renowned and newly developed products including >B< Press, >B< MaxiPro and >B< Sonic.

The event was a great success with journalists showing great interest in the topics covered on the day. Chief Executive Mano Bakhtiari, gave a presentation of his own, with one particular sentence resonating amongst those attending, ‘not only in business, but also in life… it’s all about people’. Beginning as a family business, the sentence summarised what is and always has been at the centre of the company, its people who have made it into a brand leader in today’s industry.

Reflecting on the event, he commented on what a great experience it was: “Having key industry press from all over the world under one roof is a rare occasion, an opportunity that should not be missed. The schedule was packed with presentations, demonstrations and tours with visitors claiming what a memorable experience they had.
