The golf day was held at the Ellesmere Golf Club, Manchester and was attended by clients, customers and colleagues who travelled from all over the UK to raise money for the foundation. A friendly banter and rivalry carried on in the clubhouse over prizes including nearest to the pin, longest drive and overall winner. Perfect summer weather, a great atmosphere and an impressive location all added to the enjoyment of the day, which helped to raise money for the Salford Foundation.
At the end of the day, congratulations went to Simon Svabic, captain for the Albion Academy who steered his team to victory.
The Salford Red Devils Foundation deliver sport, health and education based activities across Salford, Greater Manchester and beyond, and are available to all regardless of background or ability.
