World Refrigeration Day occurs annually on the 26th June. An international awareness campaign to raise the profile of the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat-pump sector and its importance in everyday life and society.
Refrigeration is at the heart of enabling people to live, travel and work comfortably. For example, surgeons operate in air-conditioned hospitals; chilled vaccines are delivered safely to millions in need and low-carbon heating solutions (heat-pumps) keep people warm.
World Refrigeration Day is a celebration for all the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat-pump sectors throughout the world.
